Ça y est je suis passé en mono (plateau de 30 et cassette XT 11-46).
J'ai fait un petit test dimanche sur des chemins connus.
Et bien je suis conquis!!
Le ressenti correspond à ce que j'avais calculé avec Excel. Ca monte aussi bien que le double mais je perd un peu en vitesse max.
Ce n'est très important puisque sur l'avant dernier pignon (13 dents) sur le plat on roule à 30 sans faire le hamster.
Sur le 11 ça devrait permettre d'aller à plus de 35 sans trop mouliner.
L'étagement de la cassette est top et c'est super fluide, un régal!
Niveau gain de poids, ce n'est pas énorme. Ça représente environ 150 grammes de moins.
Le vrai gain se situe au niveau de l'usage (plus simple) et de l'entretien (plus simple également).
Pour ceux qui doutent encore, il faut essayer ?

Tu vas apprécier le confort du mono en plus en 30.11/46 tu es tranquille un peu désavantagé sur les portions roulantes mais en général on plus dans les singles que sur route

Perso, je m'en moque un peu de rouler vite sur route, c'est pas ma vision du VTT.

En version 27.5+ je suis en 10-42
et en version 29 en 10-46

Toujours en plateau de 30 dents et c'est parfait pour moi, je ne changerais rien, ni passer en plateau de 32 ni mettre une galette de 50 dents derrière, beaucoup trop lourde et plus chère que la 46. Rolleyes  (surtout qu'il faut normalement changer son dérailleur pour accepter le pignon de 50).

 A chacun de se faire son idée, mais sur mon spad, c'est l'idéal.
